Graphics card dead? And integrated graphics make the PC EXTREMELY slow

Hi. I'm having a very strange problem. Yesterday I was using the computer and all of a sudden the monitor went black, saying no signal or something like that. At first I thought we lost power but no, the computer was on, the keyboard was on, only no image. I restarted the PC but still no image. So I unplugged everything, opened the PC case and cleaned it, I unplugged the graphics card and cleaned it. Plugged everything back in and still no image. So I thought I'd try the integrated graphics, and that worked, the monitor showed image and I got into Windows.

Now the problem was the resolution was very low, so I thought probably no proper driver was installed for the integrated graphics, but the strangest thing is that everything is extremely slow, I'm talking about 10 or 15 minutes to get Windows to start, several minutes to simply open a folder or do anything. And the CPU usage is 100% all the time without me doing anything. I thought, ok, maybe some of the RAM is dead, because it's 12 GB in 4 separate sticks, but the system properties does show 12 GB, so that means the ram is fine, right?

After a while of this integrated slow nightmare I got the graphics card to work again, and the computer was normal again, fast normal, normal resolution, etc, so I just thought I had an unlucky day, but... Today, no image again, and I can't make the graphics card work, only the integrated graphics work, making the computer ridiculously slow again. It's like the graphics card is not recognized?

Sorry for the long message. I don't know what to do or think anymore. I can try to find out about brands and models if you need it. Thank you for your time.

I just took the graphics card out again and put it back in, and now it's working and the computer is acting normal (fast) again. I don't understand why this is happening...
