Hello, It looks to be that I have a computer problem and I may need some help. So it was all working fine until I nudged / pushed the pc with my leg causing the pc to switch off. I didn't think much of it because the computer didn't tip over. I then tried switching it back on and all I have been getting is a black screen with a "orange" colour on my monitor button.

I first tried to see if i have may disconnected a CPU fan pin or that all of the connections were properly intact. I tried reconnecting the 8-pin connector and tried taking out the motherboard battery and putting it back in. I then removed the video card and tried differnet slots on the mobo.

I also tried changing the ram into different positions or booting the computer with one ram stick.

So now I don't really know if it's my motherboard , Power supply or CPU that's causing the problem. Because all the lights on the motherboard are working and it seems to be running. In addition the PSU fans and the CPU cooler fans are running aswell. The intresting thing is that I tried plugging in a mouse and a keyboard they didn't seem to be working.

Computer Specifications:
Intel Core I7 4770k
Gigabyte G1 M5 Mobo
8GB Corsair Veng Ram
Nivida GTX 780 Ti

It's really wierd that this is happening but any help advice would be appreciated.

Check and double check every connection. Ports, case switches, drives, etc. Hopefully something just came loose. Check around to see if anything fell off into the bottom of the case too. If you can't find anything, try pulling the GPU and using the integrated to see if it'll POST.

Unfortunately, it could also be that something was damaged. Depending on how fast it moved a heavy CPU cooler can cause a lot of torque. If the case deformed enough, it could have made contact with one of the solder points on the back of the mobo and shorted it out. If the mobo flexed, it could have flexed enough to become damaged.

Yeah I tried the integrated graphics card no luck with that. I also use a water cooler so it's really small. I think I will go ahead and purchase the new motherboard and see how it works. Hopefully the cpu isn't damaged or anything of that nature.
Thanks

Update, The mobo was broken. I ordered a new one put the pieces back inside and it works.
