What Card Do I Need

Current info:
3x ASUS 1080p Monitors (2xDVI, 1xHDMI)
R9 290 OC(Max. Res: 4096x2160)
My current monitors are all running at 1920x1080, and 1920 times 3 is 5760.. which is higher than the max of 4096. So, that right off confuses me. If someone can explain that, that would be great.
Next, I also have a 4k TV that I want to hook up as a 4th monitor. I am presuming that would run at 4096x2160, which would make my total resolution 9856x5400. I am not even sure if there is a card that can handle that. However, I am currently over resolution with my setup right now.... Soooo... I was looking into upgrading my card but didn't know what would work.
Would any of these work? Or something else? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

if you want more performance, you can get a better card, and a 1070 would definitely be a good choice. but if youre not gaming on the 4k monitor or even if you are and youre playing lighter games (Dota, LoL, etc), your current card is fine.

I am unable to currently support all 4 monitors at once due to max. resolution even when not gaming. Would a 1070 fix that issue or not?

what hes saying is the max resolution is for each port/monitor. so you could have 4 4k monitors on your current 290

assuming all of your ports match up with your monitors/tv, just plug all 4 displays into the 4 ports on your card and you should be good to go

It just says "Unable to save display settings". I am using displayport as it is the only remaining open port. I also tried using the hdmi port on the motherboard, and that would not even register.

can you disconnect everything but the TV and just try the TV?

Have done that. In fact, the tv will work with 2 of the 1080p monitors. Just not all 4 at once.
