What item is that. Because all the item I got imported using amazon global shipping included shipping charges and customs duty(if required) in the total price which I had to pay before hand and get that delivered to my door without extra handling charges after receiving it.

I live India. Lets say Customs charges apply differently according the governments policy you are in. But at-least you get charged for shipping which is included in the final price quote that you pay.
Please recheck the invoice provided by Amazon and check if there is shipping price included in the total amount and you missed it.
