i7 7700k 4.5ghz vs 4.2ghz

I just want to ask a simple question.
how much difference in fps there is between i7 7700k Clocked to 4.5Ghz vs It Clocked to 4.2Ghz

I know that it's not a huge difference between those 300Mhz but lets say I'm playing gta v(cpu intensive game)
is it going to be a 4FPS difference or something?
And Btw I'm asking this question because I have thermal problems so I need to downclock it to 4.2Ghz.

Well 4.2 to 4.5 is a 7% increase. If everything scaled perfectly and your CPU was the limiting factor you could see 60fps increase to 64fps. However in the real world that is highly unlikely.

In your case I really expect you won't be able to tell the difference, just try it.

ok,well I have a gtx 1070 combined with 16gb of ram XMP 3200Mhz
and I'm almost 99% sure that they all combine perfectly together and with no bottleneck.
So the 300Mhz won't make a difference in gaming?only in rendering and workloads?
