So i buy Counter-Strike Source.The game was working fine until i decided to boost my fps.I searched on the web and i find a cfg file that if i put it in cs source and then do this command -exec (cfgfilename) it would dramatically boost my fps.When i go into a game it works fine and smoothly but when i shoot 1 bullet the hole game crashes and the usual 'hl2.exe has working' pops up! Please help me!

You are not going to be involved in any kind of illegal actions, i just want to play my game.And i know the rule in toms hardware i could just tell i buy it from steam but i did't.So can anyone help me find a solution?? An answer won't hurt!!
