Hey guys its me teemu from finland, my old motherboard did break and just bought new one.
My windows 7 instantly BSOD (Blue screen of dead) when im trying to boot it
I had this problem also with my old mother board (had to change sata mode to get it work.)
So my problem now is that i don't have option to change sata mode on my new motherboard.
Is there any other way to do it?
Thanks for your answers! =)

There is only one SATA mode - AHCI.
There is no IDE mode or RAID mode.

Trying to use an old Windows 7 installation is not recommended. You need to do a new install.

THE B250 Chipset motherboard only supports Windows 7 with 6th Generation CPUs. With 7th Gen CPU the only Windows option is Windows 10 64-bit.

Windows 8.1 64-bit and Windows 7 32/64-bit are only supported when using 6th Generation Intel Processors.

Hi all, i have the same problem i cant find the option to put the B250F SATA in mode AHCI. Windows is not the problem i can installed with I7 6700 and then change to I7 7700K 7th Generation and it go work perfectly. The Generation of CPU dont affect in nothing the windows what you use.

Coming back to the Post i think you need install windows first and then change to the AHCI mode. There is a other way to change to AHCI from the register (Regedit) but im not sure if this is safe

Any have any idea how to fix this?
