Hello i just wanted to know first off if is more worthed to go over kaby lake than skylake at the current state, i heard that you cant run kaby lake on a windows 7 OS, which is a bit of a shame i do plan on upgrading eventually to windows 10 for the performance and new directX, but its really worthed?

So here goes im trying to buy between i7 6700 or the i7 7700 non K, i dont care about overcloking.

As for the motherboards i also had a problem recently with bent pins which is why i decided to upgrade anyways from my 3rd gen i5 to a i7 more recent and also save a bit of money in the process as much as possible.

Now i tried to find certain motherboards and hopefully some of you know the chipset or even the brand itself, im more fan of asus and with fan i mean it lasts forever and holds even when there are blackouts where i used to live, so i do know they are solid:

-ASUS PRIME B250M-A

-ASUS B150M-CSM / B150M-A D3 / B150M-A M.2

And looking into other brands i checked :

- MSI B150 ATX motherboard

- GIGABYTE B150 GA-B150-DS3H

Now im aware this will use DDR4 rams, which i will have to buy, where im i only get the option to get Kingston HyperX fury (used this on my old set up) or Corsair ones, my kingston ram has been solid but i also know that corsair is solid on their stuff..

Now i can put the price in the currency that i am, but i want to hear the opinions first then i will start selecting which one is more budget but also get recomended

PD: Have in mind that i have everything else but motherboard, processor and memory, those are the only things i need, i already have a gtx 980 sc evga, a corsair 800gs psu and a corsair 300r case that can fit everything.

Thanks

Thats the thing i want to keep it not that expensive but at the same time have quality, yeah i did mention i7 6700 also not only the i7 7700 which is the latest with kaby lake, if i7 7700 is such a hassle then i go for 6700 which im already thinking honestly but i wanted to know about the motherboards and ram as i mention in the post.

Also an update i found the MSI B150M MORTAR ARTIC motherboard how good is it because i dont know about msi UEFI or BIOS, and their lasting power. Its also cheaper thats why i want to know
