Hi,
I have a Asus Z97-A/USB 3.1 motherboard it has a on board M.2 slot only good for 10GB/s I bought a Samsung 950 Pro 256 Gb but only get 820 read and 794 write with Samsung magician I read where an pci-e adapter will increase I only have 2 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16 (x16 or dual x8)
1 x PCIe 2.0 x16 (x2 mode)
2 x PCIe 2.0 x1
2 x PCI
I am running two graphic cards on PCIe 3.0
if I put a adapter on PCIe 2.0 x1 would it speed up to full M.2 speed like 20Gb/s
or what can I do thanks I need the help

1 x PCIe 2.0 x16 (x2 mode) *1
2 x PCIe 2.0 x1 *2
2 x PCI

x2, the same as the m.2 on the mobo. You need x4 to get the full speed
