I have a Gigabyte Radeon RX 460 Windforce OC 4GB graphics card i just installed in my desktop today. Im using an HP Pavilion p7-1174.
A8 3800 APU with 12GB ram and a 750 watt psu.
Anyway the computer worked fine before i installed the graphics card and the card seemed to work fine before installing the driver software from the disc it came with. I checked for updates on the site and it says there aren't any updates and that I'm using the most up to date driver software. This happened to me earlier. Since then i reinstalled the operating system and started from scratch and everything was working until i installed the driver software again.
I read a couple forums on this recently but they don't seem to provide answers that apply to me. Does anyone have any ideas? Im searching the web right now for drivers. If anyone has a link to maybe an old driver that works? If not i will be returning this card to amazon. Id rather not go through the hassle but something isn't working right. It will boot up and be fine until i start opening applications and then the screen on my monitor just goes black. Does not display no signal or anything, just goes black and stays black until i do a hard shutdown and restart it again.
