So I ordered 4 2GB sticks for my budget build and I put all 4 in it would turn on and just spin the fans so I took out 1 stick same thing ok let me take out another ok it posts and boots but I only have 4GB of ram I looked it up some and did a cmos reset (I think I did it right) and tried changing memory mapping or whatever its called anyway any help would be great I just got these parts for a cheap gaming computer.
Specs:
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700
Motherboard: Asus P5Q Turbo (not the pro but they are basically the same)
Ram: PNY 64BOQJTHE-HS 2GB PC2-6400U DDR2 800 240Pin Non-ECC Unbuffered Desktop Memory x4
GPU: 750 TI
PSU: Evga 80+ 500W PSU
I know this is not the best gaming PC at all but I have to start somewhere.
