I want to overclock my AMD FX 6300 to 4.3 - 4.5 ghz

I want to overclock my AMD FX 6300 to 4.3-4.5 ghz but i do not have uefi and the only guides i can find on youtube are for uefi! I followed a guide and set as many settings as possible to match with the settings in the youtube video and my system ended up crashing someone please help. how can i overclock without the uefi. and if i do 100% need uefi how can i install it without having to fully reinstall windows 7 on my pc! I only have Windows 7 professional with no uefi!

UEFI is a type of Bios and not something that you can install. Either your motherboard has a UEFI bios or it doesnt. As far as copying settings to try to OC your chip this wont necessarily work as all chips are different.

You don't need UEF Interface, however watching a YT video and copying settings is not how to overclock. Overclocking is about the process you use to get to the final settings, not the settings themselves. All chips are different, and so no two should be assumed to use the same settings.
