I have multiple instances of Malware showing up during Avast scanning, specifically VBS: Malware-gen. Last night, the 21/02/2017 at 9pm, I ran a scan that came up clean. This morning, the 22/02/2017 at 11am, the scan turned up 31 instances of this VBS malware. I tried removing, then ran again and it returned 5 instances of VBS Malware.
I've tried running a number of scans and removing it, but it returns differing results each time. Malwarebytes returns no threats at all. I've also tried doing a Boot-time scan through avast, which returned 40 instances of the malware but did not remove them all.
I've also tried restoring to a previous point, which returns an error. Other than wiping everything and starting clean from a windows disc, I'm out of ideas. I'm beginning to become a little worried, any help? Thanks in advance.
