I finally purchased one of these, my usage will pretty much be leaving it on during the day while im at work.

Whilst a automated game is playing while im away.

I have a concern, does it have smart charging? eg. when its full it stops accepting a charge.

Or will this type of usage run a risk of damaging the battery?

Doesn't say anything in the specs sheet about any battery charging protection/conditioning features, only that it has a non-removable Li-Ion 5200 mAh battery:

My laptop battery has fallen victim to that (my own fault for not removing it when laptop was always being used on mains power every day for a about a year). It's problematic for you since it's non-removable.
