how do i get rid of this weired storage thing ?

1. You just need to remove the drive letter from that partition.
In Disk Management, right click on that D partition.
Select "Change drive letter or path"
Remove the drive letter. And only the drive letter.

2. SSD + HDD. Read these:

You want to keep the system reserved partition, it provides stability and is where boot manager and boot config data is stored.
