Gigabyte Mobo with XFX RX 460 4GB DDR5 1220Mhz

Hello good people,

I would like to have your opinion about the compatibility between my MOBO Gigabyte GA-Q67M-D2H-B3 and the XFX RX 460 4GB DDR5 1220Mhz GPU.

MOBO: GIGABYTE GA-Q67M-D2H-B3 (bios version F7)
GPU: XFX RX 460 4GB DDR5 1220Mhz
RAM: 8GB DDR3
SO: Windows 7 Professional 64 bits
PSU: Corsair CX600

Of course it will work together, It has a PCI express slot doesn't it? xD of course it does.

I've called the Gigabyte support here in Brasil, and the guy told me that the GPU will not work with that MOBO, because the motherboard slot is 2.0 and the GPU is 3.0...

Thanks for the reply. Some guys told me that the XFX GPU can be May be incompatible with my Gigabyte MOBO....
