So do I have a strong enough psu

Solution
The real question you should be asking is "Will a GTX 1050 work on a hp pavilion p6 2100". The reason I recommended the GTX 750ti is because it will work on just about anything. The GTX 1050, being new, needs a UEFI BIOS and I don't know if your computer is that modern or not.

It's hard to say, Stock PSU's never are at the rated watt they have shown. That being said, why cant you upgrade? is it due to size? They make mini PSU that will fit in HP, dell cases. also make add on PSUs that go in a cd drive bay, usually 150 to 300 watts. What i used 12 years ago to power my second 7950 gx2 at the time lol

Thanx for all the help guys my whole reason for getting a low powered card is that I was just trying to improve my current computer that I gave my son he plays tf2 and didn't want to put too much money because I'm planning on building a way better computer in the future. So I ended up buying a pny gt 710 for 50$ and it's doing the trick for tf2 at the highest setting and running great so for those of you who have a hp pavilion p6 2100 maybe that will an option for you
