My DVR is connected 2 a Linksys router which feeds from a Arris modem/ router.
I have port fwded on Linksys 88,5050,6050 and 7050 as directed.
On my hone network I am able to access/view my Zmodo DVR by going to it's static IP address of 192.168.1.103:88 however I am not able to access remotely (external network) When I check canyouseeme.org it says my ports are locked. My ISP assured me my ports are unlocked.
My arris modem IP series is 192.168.0.xxx and will not allow me to port to series 192.168.1.xxx.
Ive been going at this for hoyrs and so frustrated. I waited over 2hrs for Zmodo tech support whos only suggestion was to connect DVR directly to Arris which I share with my neighbour. I know this can be configured and at my wits end whats missing . I truly appreciate any help you can offer.

I appreciate your speedy response. I should have elaborated on the Arris. I did port forward 88, 5050, 6050 and 7050 with no resolve.
I read on portforward.com that I am to forward the external IP from the Arris to the internal IP of the Linksys.(Is that a PORT forward or a different process?0 The Arris rejects IP addresses 192.161.1.xxx will only accept 192.168.0.xxx unless I'm doing something incorrect.

In my Linksys WRT300N Under Basic setup I changed my Internet connection type to Static IP where it auto assign 192.168.0.7. On my Arris modem under Firewall I added virtual server(port fwd) 8080 to pvt IP address 192.168.0.7.
When I check port 8080 with www.yougetsignal.com its still showing closed.
On my Linksys I went to Adv Routing where I setup Static routing ... will only allow me to use 192.168.0.0 for the Destination LAN IP:, the gateway is my Arris modem IP 192.168.0.1 and the Interface is Internet (WAN) but still getting Port closed.
I there anything else I can try?
