Wireless Bridge for Wake on LAN, Wireless Card for Internet/Remote Desktop, Is That Possible?

I recently used the dd-wrt firmware on an old router to turn it into a bridge so I could wake my computer from sleep and remote desktop to it. However I noticed that my internet speeds have dropped considerably from around 100Mbps down to around 10. I'm assuming the culprit is that my computer prefers to use the ethernet cord coming from the old router instead of using the TP-Link N900 wireless card I have installed. Is there any way around this?

Windows 10

(I'm fairly new to this too, so if I did anything wrong or if you need more info let me know)
