Hello everyone, I recently upgraded my GPU and although i'm able to run games much better, i'm finding that my CPU just isn't able to keep up most of the time. I was planning on getting an Intel Core i3 6100 3.7GHz CPU and wanted to know if I would also need to get a new Motherboard. My current motherboard is a Lenovo Bantry CRB and i can't seem to find anyone that knows anything about it. Anyone here know whether or not I would need to replace it to use this new CPU?

The short answer to your question is no...
You will need a different motherboard because your computer uses AMD processors and the FM2+ socket.
According to Lenovo this is as good as it gets for you: (Without a motherboard upgrade)...

What CPU is in it now?
Download and run Speccy to discover.

This seems to indicate it is an AMD CPU

This one might work as well: (Based on your socket type)

(However, if you have a low profile case the wraith cooler that's included may not fit but would be required.)
