For some strange reason my laptop only reaches 30fps when gaming and not on charge. I have checked the v sync settings on the games i play and they are disabled, checked the power options and it is on high performance and i have also checked the graphics card control panel and v sync is also disabled on their. Here is the link to my laptop http://www.ebuyer.com/722490-hp-pavilion-15-gaming-laptop-n9r91ea-abu. When playing cs:go with the laptop on charge the fps reaches up to 150 at high settings. Is there anything else i can do?

Thanks,

Forgot to say... if the program is on your pc it will be on your desktop. Only computers running an nvidia gpu will have this. If it's not one there you can download it from nvidia.com. Only do this if you have a GeForce graphics card!

My guess is that its slowing itself down to save power when its not on a charge.

Are you running the nvidia GeForce experience program? If you are there's an option in it called battery saver. By default it will be set to 30fps while not charging.however there is a slider which you can bring from 30fps to 60. This only affects the pc while on battery and not charging.
