All the fans came on and were spinning so was the power button at the front which went blue but the HDD light never came on. what is the problem with it??? Also seeing as all the things were functioning am i in the safe, when i get the screen will everything come on???

If you don't have ram in the computer, the HDD will never execute.

Computers test and use systems in order. First it checks the CPU, then the RAM, then the VGA (Whether a discreet actual GPU CARD or the iGPU on intel chips), then it goes into POST. All of this is done with the motherboard, then it hands off to the hard drive or whatever you have set to boot and use for some form of operating system.

If you're missing any of those three things above, the system wont POST. No POST, no HDD function.

there isnt bro what should i do

What is the make/model of your motherboard and case.
Older motherboards may not have an internal usb3.0 header to plug into.

If that is the situation, you have three options.

1. Do not use the front panel lead, leave it loose, you will have no front panel usb functions.
2. Buy a usb3.0 to usb2.0 adapter cable and use a usb2.0 header.
3. Buy a usb3.0 adapter card with an internal usb3.0 header.

He doesn't have the ram hooked in, hence why I said he needs ram to even post.

His initial question has been answered. This is a side conversation in the same thread. (The USB portion)
