I have recently bought a new PC for Christmas, down below are my specs
OS: Windows 10
RAM: 8GB
CPU: A10-9700 3.5Ghz Quad-Core
GPU: Radeon R7 (512MB)
PSU: 180W
Hard drive; 2TB

So i've noticed that when i play low end games such as roblox i get 60FPS fine yet when i record it drops down to 30 which is a shame, i've been wanting to get a new Graphics card which is an Asus AMD radeon r7 240 2gb, but is my PSU efficient for the graphics card? Buying a new PC is not an option but i found out it was possible to upgrade it

I wouldn't bother with an R7-240. As said above, it may be barely faster than integrated graphics.

Also, since your game slows down WHILE RECORDING, the slow down is most likely due to the CPU getting bottlenecked. The only way to fix that would be to upgrade the CPU to something considerably more powerful like an i7-7700 or AMD's R5-1500.

Another option would be to get a GTX1050 and record game video using ShadowPlay which uses the GPU's built-in video compression acceleration to reduce host CPU load.

Well upgrading to an i7-6700k isn't going to help due to the fact im going to have to buy a new Motherboard and insert all the pieces together and get a new PSU, all im wanting to see is whats the best yet cheapest way of helping this? I found out it is the CPU that is causing the problem but with the possible CPU upgrades that is limited to that specific Motherboard the CPU right now is probably the best. I might have though using a GT 730 then i could use nvidia Shadow Play though is the GT730 capable of running on this PC.

when it comes to not recording i much prefer my A10 pc over my i7 laptop though my i7 laptop has a 2GB 930M nvidia graphics card and is only dual core but gets higher FPS when recording. It is also around a year old and only costed around £350.

the gt 730 isnt worth upgrading to mate.
Minimum nvidia gtx 750 ti or an rx 460 - those are the cards that will support recoding ok without dropping fps too much.
