Msi afterburner GTX 1080 memory clock

What is the memory clock that msi afterburner should show while gaming

It maxes out at 5006 MHz and I'm sure that I have read somewhere that It should be 10000 MHz but could someone comfirm

DDR runs at half the frequency. 10012Mhz is your effective memory speed.

Hello... With memory types used... and different reporting software the numbers you see may need some math done to it...

basically DDR2/3 needs a 2x's multiplier in some software because it communicates at both rising and lowering clocks cycles of the memory clock.
basically GDR5 needs a 2x's or 4x's multiplier in some software.

I'm still fiddling with it, but it seems that mine tops out around 10388 with 99.9% stability, so I backed it down to a little below that.
