Hello to everyone! I just had a little question that i was asking myself, but didn't know the answer.
So i decided to ask some of you guys, who might able to help me!

So,i am planning on buying an i5 6600k,and a MB Gigabyte H110M-HD3 DDR3 LGA1151 DDR3 1600MHz,although i am not sure will i be able to overclock the CPU with this motherboard?!

For anyone that is going to participate, and for anyone that is reading this post in general,Thank you!

Solution
You can use it just fine, it doesn't make sense too use when you can just save some money and get a non k cpu if your going with a non overclocking motherboard.
Hello... you have chosen wisely... BUT this "P" model has 2 very old PCI communications slots... and was designed for "Legacy/office/Firewire/?" card use... Basically it will be dead space for you. Because of these, The MB is a full ATX size MB. Do you have a case to fit a full ATX?

It would be a better future upgrade model if you had More PCIe X1 slots there instead. B / But it will work just the same in all other features you want and hopefully in cost/availability B )

Hey man! I am in a tight budget right now tbh... And i already have a DDR3 RAM and i am not planning on changing it to DDR4,because i don't have the money... I am only a teenager from a poor country, witch escalated means i need to get a DDR3 MB to get the system running(w my budget)

Although thanks for your answer!

Appreciate it a lot!

Oh you edited the comment.... nvm i was just a little bit angry sorry... :/

Hello... Ya it takes time for me to look at all the details... and I use my space first like a scratch pad... and seeing the "P" model letter made me take a second look as to why... never trying to offend anybody here... B D

I understand budget, price vs performance and LACK of availability for older MB's... hey I'm a builder... like I said make sure you can put a ATX size MB 12 inch x 8.6 inch ( 30.5 cm x 21.8 cm ) in your case... those extra Legacy PCI slots need the extra case space.

If you are going skylake, which you are with the 6600k you will need ddr4 ram, unless your board supports ddr3l memory, you might be better off going for a Haswell build or not overclocking (getting the 6600 non k and a standard motherboard to buffer the cost of ddr4
