I am in the process of upgrading my rig. I have a friend passing off a GeForce 980 TI to me. I see the requirement for the card is a PCIe 3.0 slot x16. My problem is I run on AMD systems and I don't see a board with a 3.0 slot. I see some boards that say #.) slot if you use a certain chip set or cpu. Can anyone help clear this up for me. Thanks you

The 980ti should work even with the older 2.0 standard. Most any motherboard made in the last 6 years will support the video card as long as the motherboard has the latest bios update. Any 970 or 990 motherboard should be great.
