Hello! I bought today a MSI rx 480 8gb as an update for my old rig, and I'm trying to install it without success.
I did a clean install of Windows 10, I updated the BIOS, and Windows. I tried with different driver versions, both WHQL and not.
Windows is not recognising the card. In Device Manager I see the name of the card and an error Code 43.
After installing the drivers nothing change for Windows, however GPUz sees the card and it is apparently on full load, doing nothing.
I did a CMOS clear. I even reinstalled windows again formatting everything. I tried to uninstall drivers with DDU.
My latest try was with WHQL 16.7.2 (but i tried with a lot of other versions).

When I try to access Radeon software setting, this error pos-up:
"No AMD graphics driver is installed, or the AMD driver is not functioning properly. Please install the AMD driver appropriate for your AMD hardware."
or something like "There is no AMD graphics, plug it in and retry".

Please help!

Just for those searching this problem for the msi rx 480 gaming x, I've found it is a driver signature problem and if you use atikmdag patcher to sign the drivers it will work. Just be cautious where you download it from because there are multiple phishing sites!
