ok so my niece has asked me to buy her an older non touch screen ipod for her music because she likes to repurpose older tech that most people would just toss away.only problem is she said she wants the ipod that makes the clicking noise as you scroll through the music does any one remember which one this is?

Still, its not worth spending that much money on, if she wants an mp3 player, the old ipod won't support higher bitrate music etc. and will sound dreadful.
Here's a 6th Gen, 16GB ipod going for a great price.
It's just a silly investment to pay more to buy redundant tech when you can get a newer one for less, bit of a waste of money. Btw tell her it won't appreciate in value at all, it isn't a collectors item if that's part of it.
