Looking for adapter for old laptop drive

So, I have this hard drive from my old laptop and I was wondering if I could connect it to my pc via SATA. I think this is IDE but just to make sure here's the model number: IC25N06ATMR04-0 .

IDE is a bit of a misnomer, but yes, it is an IDE drive. The correct term for the connection is Parallel ATA, or PATA.

If you'd just like to access the data, an IDE to USB is your best bet. IDE to SATA does exist, but i wouldn't use it in a modern rig, not only that but it wouldn't work in AHCI mode, so it for sure shouldn't be used as a boot drive.

Wow, thanks for the fast response man I appreciate it. I guess it would make more sense to use IDE to USB. Would you recommend any?
