Woke up this morning to find that I had no internet. After troubleshooting I find that I do not have internet via Chrome but I have it using Microsoft's Internet Edge. I have used Microsoft's Internet Edge before and when I double click on it, it takes forever to load, like 15 min! But once it is loaded I have access to any/all web pages.

I do not have access via Chrome to anything, I get the "There is no internet connection" although I show my network adapter as having internet connection and several other programs work.

What works:
Internet Edge
Steam works but when I join a game, it will not connect online.
UTorrent
All other PCs/Devices in the house work perfectly

What have I done to help fix?
Removed routers and connected PC directly to Modem, same issue
Ipconfig /release and /renew
Checked my Firewalls, no issues found there
Scanned for Virus's using Adaware and Windows Defender, no issues found
Uninstalled Lavasoft Adaware
Uninstalled network adapter
System Restore to earlier date, failed on all system restores!

There was a Windows Critical Adobe update this morning so I uninstalled that as well.

I am at a loss as to what is wrong here! Anyone Have suggestions?

Try creating a new local user account, ensuing it's administrator install Chrome again and test it.

Can you now connect to the internet?

If not go into your router settings and disable NAT and the inbuilt firewall (If your router has one). Then test the connection again.

Please post back with the results.

I created the user account with Admin type. I am currently backing up files so it is going to take a few hours for me to log off and try this new account. I will update when I attempt it.

Ok tried the local user and it would not work as I need internet access to login for the first time! Even though I am typing this response on the computer I am having issues with! The router I use, I do not see a Disable NAT feature. Using the Netduma. But again, I plugged in my PC directly to Modem and had same issue directly connected to the modem with no other devices connected.

The error in Chrome I get is "There is no internet connection Try checking the network cables, modem, and router, Reconnecting to Wi-Fi, Running Windows Network Diagnostics"

I ran windows diagnostics and it ran quick and found nothing. I am not using WiFi, I have a CAT 5 connection. And again, Microsoft edge works, but Chrome does not.
As well other internet does not work, like I cannot play games, yet steam is up and I can browse steam and my friends profiles etc.. But cannot get Online in a game. Ventrillo or TeamSpeak also do Not work.
Not sure what is going on here.

I have WiFi Capabilities on this PC, turned it on and connected to same home network, same issue.
I then connected via Wifi to my LTE hotspot, same issue is happening.

I disabled all the extensions in Chrome earlier same issue. I can uninstall but I think their is something different because it is just not chrome itself. Being that Ventrillo, or TeamSpeak will not connect, as well, Steam works, but I cannot get online in any game. so it has to be something other then Chrome.
What do you suggest to clean registry?

I have Windows Defender but it is usually off as I had Lavasoft running. However I uninstalled as part of this process.
Currently running Lavasoft Registry Tuner as I had a key for it.

Windows has always kept me updated automatically in Windows 10. I did get an update the day prior to this issue happening which was the Adobe Critical fix. I uninstalled that fix as part of troubleshooting as well.
Using Restore from restore points I have, has not helped, they all failed to restore.

Registry scan found 35 concerns, which were fixed. I still have issue.

Thanks for all your suggestions Hamperking! I decided to do a clean install of windows, it actually goes faster than I thought. I have installed Windows 10 Fresh and just completed Chrome, and all works! So tells me I did not have a hardware issue. Some stinking virus or something. Sad I could not figure it out but I need the computer before Monday (School starts).
Thanks again!
