How do I find my Smart TV's IP address

Solution
Does your router even have the function you want. Very inexpensive routers do not have any ability to filter traffic. Since you know the mac and the ip address if the router has the feature you just fill the screens in that do that function. Exactly how varies a lot from router to router.

Not being able to see things like dhcp allocations and active ip and mac is again a issue with inexpensive routers. Many routers are designed for people who just want a box they can turn on it somehow magically works for them. They do care to learn anything about the box and want to pay as little as possible. Route manufacture have been reducing features on lower end devices to keep the costs down, less calls to customer support from people...

I could look in the online manual, now that I think of it. What's the alternate way while I find that?

Okay... I found the IP Address, Gateway, subnet, local MAC address and other info. But the goal here was to find it in the router so I can deny it access with a push of a button instead of pulling ethernet cable.

You should be able to log into your router, and look at the connections - it should list mac addresses. Then you can create a rule to block or allow.
The exact instructions would vary by router.

It does show a MAC address but only my PC's. So very odd. Through the TV's menu I found all its info but the MAC addresses it shows are nowhere to be found in the router. Nor is the IP address. Piece of junk router or?

You may have to replace your router if it does not have the feature. You might be able to load third party firmware depending on the router you have.
