Hey, have a GTX670 and looking to upgrade. My budget is $180, is there an upgrade in that price range? Looking for improvement with online gaming. Have had this video card for a couple of years now.

Hey, thanks for the suggestion! We went ahead and purchased it, hopefully it will be the upgrade we are looking for on a budget. But looking at the stats between the 2, the RX480 seems to do well compared to the GTX670.

But thanks again!

Ok so we bought the card today, installed it and it worked great! What a huge improvement. My computer was on Windows 7, decided to upgrade to 10 to take advantage of Directx 12. After doing that, I played a couple of games and then the whole system would crash and then reboot. No errors, just turn monochrome on the screen and freeze and reboot. It got to a point where the computer would turn on, but no video. No matter what I tried, nothing would come up on the screen. I put the old video card back in, everything back to normal. Any suggestions?

I did notice when I unplugged the power to the RX 480 and boot it up, you could tell it was booting up. The light on the keyboard came on, you could hear the HDD working etc. But when the power was plugged into the video card the system fans would boot up on the motherboard, but the keyboard light wouldnt come on, you didnt hear the HDD.

Fantastic, good to hear about the performance, in regards to your GPU issues, what power supply do you have?
Make sure you're using the right connection, should be a single 8 pin connector, make sure it is the PCIE cable, not the CPU EPS one.
What are your full specs?
Your motherboard might be the issue.
