Hi I was wondering if I should get the nzxt kraken x52 or the fractal design kelvin s24. It is a very difficult choice because they're both very good, but they are very different.

Solution
Well, i'll (almost) second the above.
while Fractal's Kelvin (made by alphacool) is a bit less of a shinny toy that is Kraken (made by asetek), yet Swiftech and EK are leaps and bounds above.
Swiftech's H220 or H240 comes with some lightning option. I guess prestige has even more.
And the pricing ... NZXT is way of their league with the prices. It's exactly like if Hyundai was asking for 100K for their Sonata/i40

Why not get Kelvin and use RGB fan? EK XLC Predator and Swiftech H series offer better pump (better flowrate and liquid static pressure head) and perhaps better radiator performance, I'm not aware if Kelvin sourced from Alphacool, if so, at least Kelvin's pump may last longer than Kraken pump.
If you felt that RGB add instant aesthetic on your build, go get it. Kelvin is expandable, you can use different fiitings tube and rad+fans, it won't be as stellar as Kraken but with little creativity you can use Nickle plated tube, borosillicate glass tube, and PETG + add some color dye or UV additive to loop.
