Another comment on your build. Pairing a 6600K with a GTX 1070 and playing that on a 21.5" 1080p 60Hz monitor is a waste of your hard earned money. If you want to play on that monitor you might as well get a 1050 Ti and an i3. To take full advantage of a GTX 1070 you should either go 1440p @ 60Hz, 1080p @ 144Hz, or an ultrawide @ 60Hz.

As far as Skylake vs Ryzen, I agree Ryzen looks promising, but if you want to start gaming now I wouldn't bother to wait for benchmarks, availability of the Ryzen 5, pricing stabilizing, etc.

I've looked at the ryzen, it looks good but it screws my price range at 2000$. Just also asking is it possible to upgrade a cpu after purchasing and building on it. Or is it like permanent?

wait about 1-2 months and if nothing has changed with pricing ryzen etc go for it :D

The Ryzen CPUs will all be on the new AM4 motherboards, and presumably that platform will last for at least a few years, so it seems like there should be good room for future CPU upgrades. And if you're asking if CPUs in general can be upgraded, yes, they can be removed from the motherboard and swapped with a new one. So long as new CPUs continue to get released for the same motherboard socket, or higher end chips from the same generation are available, you should be able to upgrade to them. However, you can't swap from say, an Intel chip to an AMD one, if that's what you're asking, unless you replace the motherboard as well, since they use incompatible motherboard architectures and sockets.

And yeah, I checked Canadian pricing, and the current lowest-priced 8 core, 16 thread Ryzen will be over $100 CAD more than your current pick. Apparently, the mid-range Ryzen CPUs will come out sometime in the second quarter of 2017 though, and it's likely that a 6 core, 12 thread Ryzen CPU won't be much more than your currently chosen one. If Ryzen's per-core performance is at least comparable to Intel's, that might be something worth waiting for. Or even if you decided to stick with an Intel build, it seems possible that there may be some Intel price cuts over the coming months to better compete with AMD's chips.

Agree that at least seeing how Ryzen benchmarks is worth the wait.

In regards to build it is pretty good except for two ntable things.
1) Wherever you are getting Win 10 for $40 it is not legit, these are essentially stolen keys that once the rightfull owner activates will leave with a deactivated system.
2) If you cant use a hard wired ethernet cable then powerine adapter is better then wifi, especially for gaming where ping/latency is what is most important.
