choosing parts for desktop home pc

hello (apologise if this is the wrong forum section)

im finding it difficult choose parts for a home build, pc will mostly be used for:

general internet browsing (youtube, downloading, shopping etc)

bit of word processing/homework

i have a couple things chosen, just chose brands similar to my gaming pc (choosing less powerfull parts seems harder :pt1cable:

)

Budget £200-250

CPU: most likely intel core i3?
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB

i think the only difference is one is semi-modular and the other is not

for those purposes, get a cheap laptop. If you also want to game then consider a desktop.
