Looking for 240GB SSDs

So as the title says, I was about to order a SanDisk Ultra II 240GB SSD but the couple stores that had them in stock do not anymore for whatever reason. Both stores told me that they will need about 10 days to bring new ones. I really can't wait 10 or so days for my SSD to get here.

I need the PC for work and the software I use could benefit from the SSD. (My current 5400rpm HDD takes about 5 mins just to load the program). I am going to use the SSD just for OS, a browser, a screenshot utility tool and the software I use for work. That's going to use about 50GB. I will not be transfering data like high res videos and such.

I would like to avoid Samsung 850 evo as it is priced at 100 euros and I can't afford it at the moment.

I would like some suggestions from brands like Crucial, Transcend, Adata, Mushkin which seem to be closer to the budget consumer tier. I would also like a couple pros and cons if you have used any of those before or have had any experience with them.

Thanks in advance

ADATA Premier SP550 is probably the best for the price range you're looking for. I've used them personally and they have performed well in comparison to other SSDs. Carries a 3 year warranty as well (nothing compared to the 5 year Samsung warranty)

MX300 is about the only ones I would recommend cheaper then the 850 evo.

The PNY and the ADATA SP550 are at least upgrades ove rmagenetics but still a good ways off of the samsung.
All the other "bargin" ones typically have such marginal gains over a magentic drive in random read/write that they are not even worth the premium.

I would agree with that Boosted1G, however the thing for him is price. I would say the MX300 as well but it's only around 5-10 less than Samsungs. I think he was looking for something like 20-30 cheaper. If not then MX300 is the most recommended one after Samsung.

This. The MX300 is priced at 93 euros at the moment. Saving 7 euros isn't exactly the point, might as well go for the Samsung.
Prices here are unstable. Couple days ago I found Goodram Iridium Pro 240gb at 78 euros, which is apparently Goodram's flagship ssd. Fast forward today the same ssd is 103,89.
