So I didn't really know how to name my title, but anyway here's my problem..

Basically I got a desktop, it's called HP pavilion p6 2305eo. It was bought in 2011-12. So yeah it's kind of old. It has a mATX motherboard in it, and I upgraded to a MSI GTX 750 Ti 2gb.

And from 4gb to 8gb ram 1600 mhz.

So the following specs of it are:

AMD A4-5300 APU Radeon Graphics 3.40 ghz.
GTX 750 Ti.
8gb ram Crucial 1600 mhz.
300 PSU watt.

My issue is the CPU, it overheats and can't keep up with my GPU I think. I play older games like GTA SA and drop fps a lot. I have been thinking about getting a AMD FX 6300 or 8350.

These two are good with the 750 Ti, right? The problem is then, I need at least 500-600 PSU I think, and a new motherboard along with the CPU! So, my form factor is mATX in the HP pavilion p6 2305eo. MY QUESTION IS:

I was thinking about getting this motherboard which is a mATX with the FX 6300 and 600 PSU: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3. Can I put it in my current HP pavilion computer? I mean it's kind of small can I really replace the current motherboard MSI 2AE0 with the Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 mATX motherboard? Or should I get an entire new computer case and put all my components in it? PLEASE HELP, I'D REALLY APPRECIATE IT!!!!!

Cases come with a front panel that has mic, headphone jacks, and usb ports. they also have the standoofs in them for the motherboard to sit on, sometimes you have to move the standoffs to other locations depending on the motherboard, you need to buy a cheap 5mm socket screwdriver for that just in case. they usually also come with one intake fan and one exhaust fan
