Right now, my Netgear WNDR3400 v1 does not cut it. I get about 35Mbps while sitting next to it and about 5Mbps when being away from it for like 5 feet with 1 sheet rock wall in between. Wired connection gives me 50Mbps at all times by the way.
Is there any router you would advice for a 850sq feet apartment with sheet rock walls and with a 50Mbps download connection that could handle to keep up with these speeds?
I have a budget of less than $100... I would preferably spend around $50 though.
I was looking at the TP-Link Archer AC routers myself.
Does AC really make a difference compared to N if I am using the 2.4ghz connection?
Thank you, let me know if you have more questions.
