I'm planning on upgrading to either a GTX 1070 or 1080 and I'm not sure if my current PSU will be able to handle it or if I'll need to upgrade that as well.

Current system specs:
i5-4590 with stock intel fan
Gigabyte GA-Z97-HD3 mobo
G.Skill Ares series DDR3 Ram (4 x 4gb modules)
MSI GTX 960 Gaming (2gb)
Samsung 850 EVO 120gb SSD
Seagate 1TB HDD @ 7200rpm
TP Link AC 1300 wifi card
4 x 120mm case fans
1 x 140mm case fan (the fans are whatever type Rosewill uses)
Antec High Current Gamer (HCG-620M) 80 plus bronze 620watt PSU

The PSU has had no problem with the current setup and I'd rather not upgrade something if my current PSU will be able to handle it.

Solution
That is a high-quality Antec HCG-620M PSU you have there (OEM: Seasonic). That 620W is MORE than enough to power your PC even if you choose a GTX 1070 or a GTX 1080. You don't need to change your current 620W PSU.
