Hi guys, so being a pretty experienced computer user I know how to spot a fake virus alert etc, but my mom recently got one and called the number, and the "apple rep" told her to install citrix, a program in which he gets control of her computer etc, now my mom told him that she had to go do errands etc and ended the session, but I want to know if theirs a chance he may have gotten to any sensitive data without her knowing, IE; notepad, cookies, all while hiding those screens from her. If anyone has any info it's greatly appreciated, thanks!

Solution
Same thing happened to my mom. Gotta call from some foreigner saying that they needed to access her PC because she had contracted a virus. She was smart enough not to download the program they wanted her to.

Have her Change all her passwords. Run an antivirus and malware. I wouldn't be to worried.
