i7 7700HQ and GTX 1070

Hi all,

Will the new i7 7700HQ or i7-7820HK CPU bottleneck or otherwise limit the performance of a GTX 1070 GPU? It would be in a laptop, of course. This would be paired with a 4k G-Sync Display at 120 Hz with gaming in QHD and HD. Ram is 16 GB at 3200. Other components are as would be expected, SSD, HDD, WiFi card, etc.

There's always a bottleneck. Every CPU will bottleneck any GPU under certain circumstances. Every GPU will bottleneck any CPU under certain circumstances. Better to ask if it can provide the frame rates you want in the specific games you play.
