I bought an ASRock B150 Pro4V and got an i3 7100k 3.9Ghz and it says bios 7.0. So imguessing it needs an update or a preprogrammed bios chip. My question is would the new motherboard have the updated bios because its been 2 months on the update or should i just get a new bios chip preprogrammed?
Will bios be up to date with new motherboard?

If you mean i3 7100T then yes you can use that motherboard with a bios verison of 7.0 or higher.
If you mean i3 7100 then you would need bios version 7.10.
