Can the Radeon r7 240 run rocket league at about 50-60 fps on high settings?

The cpu it is paired with is a core 2 duo e8400 3.00 ghz.

Im not pretty sure, but maybe medium at around 30+fps @768
try upgrading your CPU or get a newer system, also pick the GDDR5 version of R7 240 to make sure they can run most game nowadays, DDR3 version of it is a total junk.

I think with that CPU/GPU combo you are expecting a lot(high settings/60fps). Drop the resolution to 720p, drop the settings to medium, and make sure you get the DDR5 version of the card and I bet you'd have a very playable experience in that game. It is an esport game, not very demanding on hardware, but come on.
