I heard my friend say if the gpu graphic is too good but weak pc will experienced lag
Is it truth ?
Motherboard : P55UD3R gigabyte
Processor : intel I5 661 @3.33ghz
Ram: 4gb (upgrade is coming)
2 psu (1 for powering gpu)
PCie 2.0x16
I need recommend for gpu
If I can't run those

Get a good quality PSU, then upgrade RAM. Your system can handle even the newer GTX 1060/1050 or GTX 970 with no major system bottleneck. If you're still not too sure, then GTX 750ti is a better solution if you dont want to bother about bottlenecking.

As long as your case is big enough and your PSU has enough power (and cables) you can get any graphics card.

Yes, if you have the budget, I'd recommend getting a gtx 1080. It will have a very long usable life. Keep in mind that on Tuesday, at GDC Nvidia will announce the 1080ti which will be a cut down TitanXP.

Having a 1080 in your system will allow you to game at 1440 or 4k better than at 1080p since the stress is taken off the cpu. It could also be the centerpiece of a new pc build as you continue to purchase new components. If you want to save a little money and have similar performance, the 1070 isn't a bad choice.

The Higher VRAM you have doesnt always meant you have a better video cards.
in terms of Performance, the newer architecture card always give a better boost to older architecture. At the same architecture, the more Shader Unit, faster Core Clocks, and Memory Clocks are the most important things (TMU and ROPs also determine the power of the GPU itself).

Having more VRAM only gives you additional performance on higher resolution display, wheter its gaming or even video editing.
