Hello.
Lenovo Ideapad 510-IKB. My main issue is that my CPU i7-7500U is running in its base clock speed which is 2.7Mhz. The temps are absolutely fine (61 degrees C). So i wanna check my bios to see whats going on. Sadly the "insydeh20" bios is not showing me any CPU tweaks and its too basic. So i'm asking you guys for any hacked bios that will show me the cpu tweaks , so that i can solve my main issue which is the CPU base speed, i wanna try to disable speedstep or maybe allowing the INTEL Boost Tech if its not ON. Also if there is a solution that does not require messing up the bios , that would be great.
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

According to Intel, 2.7 GHz is the correct speed for the 7500u part, boosting up to 3.5 Ghz when under load. As it is not an unlocked (K) processor, overclocking would not be officially supported. Not to mention it's a laptop, which likely greatly constrains your possibility of overclocking due to limited thermal envelope.

Then there is the motherboard. If it does not have hardware capable of adjusting CPU parameters, no utility will help you. Even if you found someone who could provide software or bios for this purpose, I would not recommend you do it in a laptop.

I utterly stated that there are no temp issues. The laptop is new u telling me to check the fans :D
The temps are 61 degrees when the cpu and gpu are at max load.

So are you telling me that 2.7ghz is normal? i dont want to overclock. Theres a confusion here. I just want my laptop to be running fine and at normal parameters. I still think that the 3.5 should be the normal speed and not 2.7 when under load. Though the performance in tasks and games i absolutely normal.

That is fine. You neglected to say that it was under load or that it was new initially.

Yes, 2.7 GHz is normal for that processor for typical tasks. It will downclock down to about 800 MHz when idle, and I suspect it might kick up briefly to 2.9-3.5 GHz under certain single threaded loads. Check out the Intel page for the 7500U:

That made up things loud and clear. Since my system is performing at the normal and supposed to be condition, no need for interrupting any clocks. Thank you :)
