i have a laptop ,I wondered why my laptop still feels slow, though I already use Intel i7 processor,

I used to have a i3 2.2 ghz laptop, maybe a bit slow even though it was normal for the processor in its class, and then I switched to i7 6700hq 2.6 ghz up to 3.5 GHz, but why there is no much difference with i3 2.2 GHz ?
probably feels a bit faster but a little far with that I guess

my laptop spec:
Asus x550vx
intel i7 6700hq 2.6 ghz up to 3.5 ghz
Nvidia GTX950
Ram 8 Gb

The overall speed of your system is probably reduced by the hard drive you are using (Likely a 5400 RPM), or bloat ware. I would suggest a cleanup and if you have budget for it, you could check into a SSD or faster drive option (SSHD or faster RPM drive in general ).

My system was running slow and I had similar specs to you, then I installed an SSD to replace the hard drive and it brought new life into my PC. Now it boots up in under 10 seconds flat.
