Loading and booting issues

Hi Guys,

Recently I've been having trouble booting into my machine, most of the time I have no problem and it only takes a few seconds to get to the desktop (I have a ssd)

But sometimes it can take 10 minutes to boot for no reason. If it does come up in the normal amount of time I'll have trouble loading games which take far longer than usual and objects within games don't load, as in thumbnails or pictures won't appear or take a long time.

I have an ssd which houses my os (Windows 10) and a 4tb hdd for everything else. The hdd is brand new and replaced a lower capacity drive so I'm thinking the new one is defective.

I'm wondering is anybody has any idea of what the problem could be?

Edit

It is a clean install of windows 10 and have had no hardware changes. Also ran chkdsk and no problems were found

Sorry it won't load without the HDD and I used disk management to format to NTFS also creating one big partition.

I think it may be my power supply causing the problems since my machine shuts down and restarts as if the power supply disconnects and reconnects until I remove the cable. It has done this two times and it feels like its overheating.

Could a power issue affect my computer this way?
