AMD Processors Optimizing Gaming FPS

Hi All!

I have two Windows 10 gaming systems, one with an 8350 FX and another with an 860k. I've noticed in a number of games that my FPS will occasionally tank even though they are paired with a R9 390 and RX 480 respectively.

Can you please tell me if there's anything I can do to improve their performance/optimize them? Right now I'm playing Overwatch, Grim Dawn and Siege. Not too keen on overclocking btw.

it not about overclocking, but if they are overheating you will lose performance.

Download HWMonitor and MSI Afterburner.

MOnitor your temperatures while gaming.

Actually, yes to the 8350. I'm guessing some sort of graphical effect is CPU dependent. Is there anything I can do for the 860k? That would require a whole platform upgrade...

Not sure what temperature. They both run hot, I imagine, so I'd prefer not overclocking them.
