Is there a known reliable card that can easily and smoothly run two monitors with one outputting 1080p to tv? My i3 is struggling a little and I think it's time for a decent card, but I want one that is known to be reliable, not a GT 730 like card that so many users are having problems with.

For 1080p video/desktop apps/web browsing these should be excellent. The bottom one is my personal favorite, the "twin frozr" cooler only turns the fans on when the gpu hits 60c. If you aren't gaming or 3D rendering I doubt it will ever hit 60c, so it will be nice and quiet(just make sure you have a 6pin power connector on your psu)...

Make sure whatever card you get has the video outputs that you require. There are some cheaper cards out there but these brands are very safe bets for reliability in my experience. Also make sure to check to make sure that the card length will fit in your case before purchase(dimensions are at the bottom under specifications).

Thanks MrNiemo! I will see if my mini build has the room and if my PSU is ok. Do all these cards have there own type of cpu? Just wondering as I am hoping when I stream from my pc to tv that the GPU is going to do all of the work?

A separate gpu won't take ALL of the stress off of your cpu, anything and everything you do on a pc puts SOME load on the cpu. With a video card there will be a lot less stress on your cpu, motherboard, and ram when doing anything video related. I think you'll have a noticeable performance improvement when working on the desktop while playing videos on the tv.

Thanks for the help. I streamed from my laptop today and it only has a DDR3 2GB Geoforce 940mx and even that streams better than my i3 so looking forward to installing a card in my desktop.
