Now I'm not a pro when it comes to building pc's, I barely know my stuff, but I've come to a reasonable price for a reasonable computer. This is more of an entry build for those switching from console or looking to try out PC gaming. The goal her is to create a better performing pc for lower the cost. If an OS is included then I'd be really impressed

Solution
need an OS, that's a $100. Keyboard and mouse, another 30 or so. And a 320GB HD is pointless for gaming. OS is going to consume 50GB right away and a few games and that space is gone.

Thing is budget/console killer/$300 gaming PC's don't exist. The console market fills that void. You want to game on a PC, it's going to cost a bit.
